The Well
Once again a big thank you for your ongoing support, as we approach Harvest Festival please remember The Well; when the foodbank can afford to, fresh fruit and vegetables are purchased and included in parcels. We are so grateful for whatever is donated, we know it is valued by those individuals and families who receive help. 'It is in giving we receive' - thank you, Kay Stokes - The Well food trolley is located at the back of the church by the door leading to the Oak room. http://thewellwolverhampton.co.uk

The Friends of St Bart’s and St Anne’s would like to thank everyone who attended our Musical Social evening on Saturday 23rd September 2023. The entertainment was provided by Geoff Gooding and his friends, The Sandpipers. They were amazing and everyone enjoyed the evening. We held a raffle and the evening raised over £500 for the Friends. Thank you to everyone who helped on the night and for donating raffle prizes. We look forward to seeing you all again in the future. Please consider joining the Friends and you will have advance notice of future events. Speak to Rev’d Ben or Anne Edwards regarding membership enquiries.
Two more of the charities supported by St Bart's are
The Haven
Supports people who are escaping domestic abuse (primarily women and children) by seeking to uplift them and empower them.
During the summer months they arrange a variety of trips to local parks, museums, zoos or a day at the beach. These trips help to create positive memories and a sense of well-being for those who have escaped difficult personal circumstances.
Practical Action
Provides help to people who live in some of the poorest communities in the world.
They promote the use of technologies which can be managed and supported by the people themselves.
They help provide clean water, methods of preserving food, means of boosting agricultural production by irrigation and fertilizers.
They promote schemes for generating electricity including solar power wind power and micro hydro power systems.
These schemes help people live healthier lives, improve their economic well-being and also make the world a more sustainable planet.
