18th December :
3.00pm All age carol service
This service has been a new addition over the last few years and proved to be very popular. It has Carols and readings etc led largely by the children. This will be a lovely alternative to the candlelight service which can be a bit much for younger ones and those who need more light to read by and space around them!

6.30pm - Carols by Candlelight

St Barts is the place to be for this Holy Christmas event. The church lights are turned off and in the complete darkness, a candle is lit by each person. The church looks fantastic by the flickering candlelight and the  atmosphere is set for a service that really lets you know God is with us.
This service is extreamly popular, It is recommended that you get here early!

22nd December:

7.30pm – Blue Christmas
(For people who find
Christmas difficult)
Christmas is traditionaly a time when people come together, this is often rewarding, but can also come with stresses and strains. Some people find Christmas quite a lonely time of year through bereavement, emotional distress and depression. At St. Bart's we would like to offer a hand of friendship and a bit of peace and quiet away from the hectic lead up to Christmas in a relaxed comfortable enviroment.

Christmas Eve:

2.00pm Crib Service

New To this year is a small service where we will put the Crib together in the Church.
The Younger children will love to find out about the characters and building the nativity scene.
Gather round the Crib for Carols old and new, with Prayers and to witness the placing of the baby Jesus in the manger.

The real feel of Christmas starts here!

11.30pm Midnight Eucharist
Theres something special about going out to a venue late at night, and this midnight service has to be the ultimate experience.
